Recurrent Energy Commences Commercial Operation of Rooftop Solar Energy Systems in Spain

Recurrent Energy, a solar power projects developer and a power producer, has commenced the commercial operation of distributed rooftop solar energy systems with 4.8 MW capacity in Spain.

The solar energy systems are the result of a co-development agreement established in September 2009 with ProLogis European Properties (PEPR), which is a modern distribution facilities owner, and ProLogis Renewable Energy.

Recurrent Energy, which operates and owns the systems, also financed the solar energy systems with 4.8 MW capacity that are situated on eight distribution centers of PEPR in Madrid and Barcelona in Spain. These grid-connected systems feed the power that is produced into the domestic utility by means of a feed-in-tariff.
