CNA Devises Insurance Program for Renewable Energy Contractors

CNA, an A grade rated insurance company that offers a variety of marketable insurance products, has introduced a novel Commercial Affiliation Marketing (CAM) program, exclusively for non-residential renewable energy contractors.

The Global Insurer’s 12th Construction CAM, Renewable Energy Contractors, allows an exclusive opportunity for CNA to demonstrate its risk control, claim and underwriting know-how to meet the exclusive needs of this sector of the building industry.

CNA has developed a unique insurance program to meet the requirements of Renewable Energy Contractors, who are engaged in installing commercial type of geothermal, solar and wind energy projects. The list also includes contractors who are engaged in constructing land-based metal wind turbines, solar power erecting works and geothermal drilling operations that do not go more than 150 feet vertically.

While talking about the program John Tatum, CNA’s Vice President of Construction, expressed confidence about the program and said that it will enhance the reputation of the company, among top construction industry markets in the insurance industry. He recalled the 60 years of underwriting experience of the company,  and their aptitude to stay put at the top, in all changing technologies and added that it will bring them a clean and viable lead in the renewable energy insurance market.
