SunWize Salem Solar Challenge Event Draws Salem Residents

SunWize Residential Power Systems (SunWize), a SunWize Technologies division, along with Salem, OR residents, have exceeded the target set by the SunWize Salem Solar Challenge towards installing solar electricity to the extent of 75,000 W.

This nation-wide program successfully installed solar electric systems with overall power rating of 76,248 W DC in 13 households.

The newly installed solar systems of SunWize provide the area of Salem with the generation capacity for clean energy that is equal to avoiding over 100,000 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions annually. Local area residents have an opportunity for visiting these solar households during the forthcoming Salem Solar Home Tour.

SunWize will be continuing to offer home solar assessments for free to the area of greater Salem.
