Vestas has obtained a wind turbine order from CLP for 24 units of V82-1.65 MW capacity wind turbines meant for the first phase of the Harpanahalli Wind Farm project in Karnataka State, India.

The contract consists of the supply as well as commissioning of wind turbines, a 10-year agreement for service and maintenance along with a VestasOnline Business SCADA system. Delivery has been scheduled to commence from Q3 of 2010 while the project has been scheduled to be completed by Q1 of 2011.
