Global Technologies Ltd, a company engaged in purchasing technology resources for improving their expansion and development, declared that it has improved its portfolio of small and medium wind information prediction (Wind IP) companies by utilizing its option to obtain Hybrid Wind turbine Designs and Engineering from a private holding company Creative Laboratory Enterprises (CLE), which is basically engaged in renewable energy and environmental segments.
The company considers that the Small and Medium Wind-Power Generation sectors will achieve a significant growth in the near future. A recent report from Pike Research, predicts an upward growth in the global small wind market with a forecasted revenue growth from $203 million in 2009 to $412 million in 2013 that goes in support of the plan of GTL. For increasing its market value and to advance the projections of its wind portfolio, the company has recently planned a patent protection for six types of vertical axis wind turbine usage designs and nine types of know-how for the core wind turbine blade design. Earlier the company had signed a development and distribution license with the Wind Design Distribution Group (WDD) for its privately owned wind turbine blade design which, if does well with international sales is anticipated to offer around $15 million in income during its initial offer itself.
The company by taking over and funding the products at their research and early stage helps the inventors and developers to leverage financial and technical resources. The company builds its asset value by investing in undervalued clean energy technologies, receipts from the sale of share holdings, partnership development agreements and by extending permission to use the patented technology or by providing distribution arrangements.
