Solar Monkey, a system integrating company, and KYOCERA Solar, a global solar company, have declared the culmination of a 247.70-kW solar system installation at Rainbow Sandals’ headquarters in San Clemente, California.
The system designed and integrated by Solar Monkey incorporates 1,170 KYOCERA KD210GX-LPU high-output 210-W modules that are expected to supply 340,000 kWh of energy per year. The solar system installed over the rooftop of the corporate office of Rainbow Sandals, is expected to produce enough power to offset 87% of the total power requirement of the building.
