Tenax Energy to Deploy Tidal Energy Project in Australia

Tenax Energy is all set to establish a massive tidal energy project with 200 MW capacity in Australia.

The planning towards this project has received a boost by way of the company securing a site license towards installing tidal energy turbines in the Clarence Strait.

The plans towards deploying one of the biggest marine energy projects in the world situated in the tidal waters that exist between the Tiwi Islands and Northern Australia have moved closer to reality ever since the site license was granted for this flagship project.

Tenax Energy is the project developer and will be moving forward towards implementing this tidal energy project with 200 MW capacity that would consist of at least 200 numbers of 1 MW tidal turbines erected in the Clarence Strait. An environmental impact assessment is being conducted for this Tenax Energy tidal project that makes use of tidal stream equipment for harnessing the energy from fast-flowing tides towards powering the turbines.
