Enel Green Power Starts Novel Wind Park in France

Enel Green Power is operating and controlling a new French wind farm. The wind farm has a total capacity of 24 MW consisting of twelve wind turbines with 2 MW capacity each. This wind farm happens to be the second largest wind farm operated in France by the company.

This novel Haut de Conge wind farm takes Enel Green Power’s overall installed capacity to 92 MW in France while another 64 MW is currently under construction. This new wind farm began its operations under the Champagne-Ardenne region.

This wind farm is anticipated to produce 50 million kWh of energy annually, sufficient to meet the yearly energy requirements of approximately 15,000 households. This wind energy project reinforces Enel Green Power’s presence in France. By leveraging on its competencies in renewable technologies especially in hydro and solar, the company intends to further develop its presence in the growing French market. The company’s contributions towards renewable energy industry are well-known globally.
