Progress Solar Solutions, LLC, a company engaged in providing clean energy solar lighting solutions, has announced the availability of its Progress Solar Light Tower through the distribution network of United Rentals an equipment rental company. The company is planning to expand the distribution of its solar light tower in Canada and USA by utilizing the network of United Rentals.

The Progress Solar Light Tower (SLT600) offered by the Progress Solar Solutions functions without utilizing gas, diesel or electric power thus saving the usage of fossil fuels or creating carbon emissions. The mobile lighting system is sturdy build and incorporates solar wings to capture solar power to convert into electrical energy and four solid state LED type flood lights to provide lighting. The storage battery included in the system allows use of LED lighting when needed. The light tower utilized in the model can be adjusted between 12 to 30 feet heights, can rotate in 360 degree angle and can be tilted up or down. Consuming little power the solid state lights provide instant flicker free lighting for a longer duration. The control module incorporated in the module protects the lighting system from low or excess charging and manages the on/off functions of the light. The trailer mounted system can be moved to any location conveniently.
Dan Robertson, a partner of the company shared his excitement in including the United Rentals in the distribution network. He added that the inclusion will allow the clients of United Rentals to use an eco friendly, cost effective lighting that has practical usage in applications such as outdoor sports events, building sites, gas or oil rigs, mining operations, relief work during storm or other disaster and for security related functions.
