TransAct Finds Strategic Partners in India to Manufacture Solar Panels

TransAct Energy Corp, a Texas based company, has declared that it is devoted to the process of getting approval for the use of Square One Solar Systems Inc developed patented technology with the Indian power network. Square One Solar filed an application during August 2010 for the protection of its patent in India to help TransAct to continue with its setup and testing process.

Earlier during May 2010, the officials of TransAct visited India to spot out the chances in the renewable energy sector. They had meetings with the representatives of the private companies and the government and held discussions in exploring the opportunities in geothermal, waste to energy, hydrogen fuel-cell technologies and solar applications. The company was able to find strategic partners for the Square One Solar technology, which can associate in making investments, help in fixing solar power projects, offering production facilities in specially created economic zones and assist in exports.

Rod Bartlett, CEO of TransAct Energy Corp, pointed out that India is in the process of implementing solar technology and is strategically located within its approved regions. He called India an ideal location for establishing Square One Solar panel production facilities and to enter into partnership ventures for producing solar power. He expressed optimism about securing a manufacturing location and starting the manufacturing process during the last part of the year 2010.
