The X-Change Corporation, a publicly traded company, declared that it has contracted an accord to take over Richardson TX based 21-Century Silicon, Inc.
According to the conditions of the take-over, the total control of the company will be managed by X-Change by appointing new directors for the management. The company will distribute 20,000,000 restricted shares to the existing share holders of the 21-Century Silicon to acquire 100% shares in the company.
21-Century Silicon produces high quality silicon utilized in the manufacture of PV systems in the solar industry. The company utilizes a patented furnace design for the production of polysilicon that can be used in solar panels at nearly half the production cost of the other conventional manufacturing methods. The company also has other patent pending technologies which are expected to elevate the position of the company among other manufacturers. The manufactured product known as 6N Silicon conforms to the requirements of the PV supply companies. The silicon product is manufactured at a reduced cost with the least production period and without any environmental impacts. Currently the company is engaged in meeting the supply requirement of solar companies while continuing its eco friendly production process.
The production process implemented in the company was initiated during the year 2005 by Dr. H. Bruce Li, and the company came into existence in 2006. The company is in the process of upgrading the six furnaces and each furnace is expected to manufacture 200 tons of silicon that can be used in solar products by the end of 2011.
