Eaga to Install Solar Panels for Radlett Residents

A new project towards installing solar panels has begun for Radlett residents. Phillimore Court residents have already had 60 solar panels installed for providing free electricity to the communal meeting area in the sheltered accommodation.

Eaga, the project operators, in co-ordination with Affinity Sutton, the Housing Association, has mentioned that it should be helping 32 residents in saving money on their utility service charges. Pensioner Stuart Freedman, a resident of Phillimore Court for the last eight years, has mentioned that anything that helps in saving money while being good for environment has his support and that it is great to have the electricity needs provided by solar panels.

Alan Ring, Eaga Director, has mentioned that the company is installing such solar energy systems for the first time in sheltered housing units. The Director also mentioned that the solar system should also help in cutting energy costs for this communal area by £ 700 every year, a savings that could be passed over to its residents.
