Wind Energy Services Relocates Operational Base to Texas

WES (Wind Energy Services) has relocated its operational base to Gainsville, Texas. Staff as well as equipment from the company’s satellite operations located at Worthington in Minnesota, Independence in Kansas and Sweetwater in Texas have moved to Gainesville, Texas.

WES has been taking the necessary steps for positioning the company under long-term profitability, given the present challenging economic environment. MFG (Molded Fiber Glass) company owns WES wholly, while WES is a diversified producer of the composite components required for the wind energy equipment along with products for  defense, construction, trucking and automotive industries.

The WES service centers would also be strategically co-located along with the existing operations towards cost reductions in facility maintenance as well as human resource administration. The Gainesville facility in Texas manufactures wind energy blades as well as large composite products. Texas contains wind energy farms with high concentration levels. Proximity to a dense customer base would be supporting the company’s mission in providing rapid-response and industry-leading spinners, nacelles, wind blade maintenance services and on-site repair.
