Bureau Veritas, in its role as DCBO, would provide code inspection services and plan reviews for the time period of 30 months, when the facility is being designed and constructed. This facility is expected to generate large amount of electricity to power around 88,000 homes with its 250 MW solar energy installation.
The Vice President of Bureau Veritas (Power and Utilities), Kevin Wedman, commented that the company was excited to work on a project, which would deliver clean, safe and dependable power to the Californians. To work on such a large scale project, which would bring jobs to around 1100 people during construction was also highly rewarding.
