SCHOTT Solar, Berkshire Photovoltaic Services Exhibit at All Utopias Fell

SCHOTT Solar PV and Berkshire Photovoltaic Services (BPVS) declared that they have completed the installation of a photovoltaic (PV) solar instrument for an exhibition that is taking place at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MoCA). The exhibition titled ‘All Utopias Fell’ opened on 24th October.

The "All Utopias Fell" exhibition is created by artist Michael Oatman . He utilized PV modules manufactured by Evergreen Solar and SCHOTT solar for creating the exhibition. The utilized modules are linked to Solectria Inverters manufactured in Andover and fixed to the solar modules by incorporating the solar mounts manufactured by Waltham. The PV modules are sported over three chronological spaces namely ‘the Library of the Sun’ (laboratory and library inside the trailer), ‘the Shining’ (the outside of a repurposed Airstream trailer) and ‘Codex Solis’ (a 230-foot-long grid composed of mirrors and the PV panels). BVPS has erected a 1.8 kW solar array produced by SCHOTT Solar for the PV panels utilized in the initial two blocks in the exhibit and the final portion is combined with a 51.6 kW solar array set up in 2007.

Tom Hecht, SCHOTT Solar PV’s President and Chief Sales Officer, reiterated the dedication of his company to remain a part of the solar industry and called the exhibition a model for a novel and creative solar working. He detailed the advantages of working with BVPS who is assisting the state government in generating renewable energy by erecting photovoltaic solar systems all over the state.

Chris Kilfoyle, BVPS’s President, said that his company is keen in installing sturdy PV systems that assist in contributing clean energy to western Massachusetts. He expressed excitement in associating with All Utopias Fell project which will allow the company to exhibit its range of PV systems.
