SCHOTT Solar offers the SCHOTT Poly 220 W polycrystalline solar module. This module with a salient output tolerance of 0% provides the correct designed wattage. This model incorporates 6-inch sized cells for efficient usage of module’s surface.
The polycrystalline silicon cells utilized in this module are full square cells of 156 mm x 156 mm in size. The front panel used in this module is made of low-iron solar glass of 4 mm in size and packed in anodized aluminum frame. The maximum system voltage of this module is rated as 600 VDC, its maximum reverse current is 15 A, the operating temperature of this module is -40º to +85º C and maximum tolerable load is 75lbs/ft2.
The SCHOTT Poly 220 W polycrystalline solar module provided by SCHOTT has a length x breadth dimension of 1685 mm x 993 mm, its frame thickness is 50 mm and the approximate weight of the module is 23 kg. The nominal maximum operating power of this module under normal operating conditions such as irradiance 800 W/m2, spectrum air mass 1.5, wind speed 1 m/s and a cell temperature of 20ºC is a Pnom of 158, a Vmpp of 26.7, a Voc of 33.3, an Isc of 6.53 and TNOCT of 47.2ºC.
The SCHOTT Poly 220 W module incorporates a junction box with 3 bypass diodes, a PV wire of 4 mm2 and TYCO SolarLok connectors. This module is certified and meets the requirements of UL 1703.
