Suntech offers the HiPerforma PLUTO220-Udm 220 watt polycrystalline solar module. The manufacturing technology used in the module offers conversion efficiency up to 15%.
For the purpose of increasing the sunlight absorption this module uses anti-reflective hydrophobic coating. The coating also reduces the accumulation of surface dust effectively. The patented PLUTO cell technology used in the module uses extra fine cell fingers for streamlined look and to reduce shading over the surface and to increase sunlight absorption. The high-level shunt resistance PLUTO cells provide increased performance even during low light.
The PLUTO0220-Udm provided by Suntech weighs 16.8 kg and measures 1482 mm x 992 mm x 35 mm. This module uses a total number of 54 polycrystalline cells, each measuring 156 mm x 156 mm. The solar module is securely fixed in a rigidly constructed anodized aluminum alloy frame with specially designed drainage holes to prevent the frame from deforming in extreme weather conditions. This module uses the latest type IP67 junction box for better module performance and improved thermal isolation.
The electrical characteristics of PLUTO220-Udm module include a Vmp of 27.8 V, Imp of 7.92 A, Voc of 33.5 V, Isc of 8.40 A, Pmax 220 W, maximum system voltage 1000 V DC, and serial fuse rating 20 A. The normal operating cell temperature of this module include details such as maximum power 162 W, power voltage 25.3 V, power current 6.38 A, Voc 30.8 V, and Isc 6.80 A. The PLUTO0220-Udm meets the quality standard requirements of ISO9001:2008 and ISO14001:2004 and the other certification standards such as IEC61215 and IEC61730.
