Day4 Energy, a solar photovoltaic products and solution providing company, declared that Gebäude-Solarsysteme (GSS) of Thuringia, Germany, a solar technology company and a licensed partner of its Day4 solarSYSTEM’S turnkey production program, has become fully functional and produces Day4 labeled solar PV modules for various types of applications.
The company has commenced its production ahead of schedule and is expected to manufacture 15 MW worth solar systems annually during the initial years. The commencing of production is expected to bring in sizeable royalty revenue to Day4 Energy.
GSS is one among those earlier German companies that ventured into PV production. It has become the first company to partner Day4 solarSYSTEM to commence the production and distribution of roof-integrated photovoltaic solutions, an advanced type of solar modules and building integrated PV (BIPV) systems incorporating mono-crystalline solar cells. The company utilized its market presence in Belgium and France and combined it with the technology and production process of Day4 to reach upright solar markets. The company also has entered into growing BIPV markets by utilizing the grid parity of solar power prices.
The exclusive Day4 solarSYSTEMS’ licensed partner program of Day4 Energy allows the franchisees to market the DAY4 branded solar modules all over the world. The modular solar packages from the company enable the franchisees to quickly incorporate a manufacturing facility and increase their revenue.
