Airstreams Renewables to Construct a Renewable Energy Training Facility in CA

Airstreams Renewables (ARI), providing technical training solutions for the renewable energy segment, declared that it is planning to build its latest facility for renewable energy training, next to a 1.5 to 2 MW solar park, to be located in Tehachapi, CA.

The company has already named Karl W. Miller, as Chairman of the Board of Directors, to coordinate with the selection committee in the selection of advisors for  investment banking and organize the capital outlay and structure to sustain the future expansion plans of the company. Miller will function from his office located in Wilmington, North Carolina, and will remain in-charge to supervise the site estimation activities on the US’s East Coast, to build up an extra center for the renewable energy training. The new training center will complement the training center at Tehachapi and will sustain the retraining activities related to the US Military personnel to enable their smoother transition to the renewable energy sector.

Earlier the company had worked along with a solar developing company in getting a 33 years lease for the 14 acres of land situated next to the renewable energy training center owned by affiliates of ARI. The solar project has already received a conditional approval from the Board of Supervisors of Kern Country, and expected to commence its construction in 2013.
