With the booming residences in South of Market and the developing environmental consumer movement and a steadily upward trend in service sector jobs, San Franciscans Todd Gean and Jason Yeafoli recently launched the immediately successful non-toxic house cleaning business called Maid Green that services San Francisco.
The entrepreneur’s team of well-trained eco-friendly cleaner’s scrub polish and brighten San Francisco homes using only non-toxic, natural, environmentally friendly products paired with equal parts elbow grease and common sense.
In addition to several earth-friendly commercial cleaning products, Gean and Yeafoli mix up many of their own cleansers inspired by tried-and-true recipes containing vinegar, baking soda, borax, castile soap, essential oils of rosemary, lemon, lavender, tea tree and several other common, natural aromatherapy and sanitizing ingredients.
By eliminating the use of harsh, toxic chemicals that can cause pollution in the home and damage to the environment, Maid Green delivers an eco-friendly green cleaning that promotes a healthier home and environment and minimizes the impact to the ecosystem. In addition to standard maid and cleaning services Maid Green offers deep-down spring cleanings, moving-in and-out cleanings and pre and post-party cleanings.
"With pollution, global warming and other environmental concerns becoming so critical, it just maid sense," says Gean and Yeafoli. "We really wanted to do something to make people’s homes healthier and to make a difference. We think starting small and close to home is important."
