Everest announced that it was making a move into the energy sector by launching a new solar panel, insulation, and boiler business. The company plans to utilize the government’s funding for consumers to install energy-efficient products in the houses.
Everest is confident that it will capture a vital market share in the boiler market, which is valued at £3 billion. The company will roll out new offers in parts of Southern England and then to the whole of the United Kingdom.
Everest’s Managing Director, Simon Jarman, stated that the company aspires to become a one-stop shop for improving homes. Customers in Britain have already begun taking up the feed-in tariffs of the Government. Customers are paid money for producing electricity from the grids of the wind turbines and solar panels.
Jarman added that the energy efficiency market would have a huge growth in the future. Currently, regional or local firms serve 80% of the energy efficiency market.
