China's Biomass Energy Market Grows Rapidly

A new research report from Sandler Research covers the biomass energy market in China. The report says that the biomass market in the country developed rapidly in the last few years. Hence, the industry will experience good prospects in the future.

Currently, the two major drawbacks of the biomass energy industry are the scarce supply of gain feedstock and technology bottlenecks. These setbacks block the development of biomass products such as biopower generation, liquid biofuel, biomass gas, and solid biofuel.

As China’s economy is rapidly developing, the demand for energy will also grow faster. The country will focus on promoting biomass energy development, due to the scarcity of fossil fuel supply. Moreover, the country has abundant biomass resources, including corn cob, rice straw, and wheat straw. This motivates China towards biomass energy generation.

The Chinese government has announced a set of policies to establish a target for biomass products, and to offer fiscal subsidy for key biomass products. The research report offers details on situation of the feedstock, consumption situation, marketing channels, and future outlook. Other information covered in the report includes key players of the industry, factors affecting biomass products, future industry trend, and opportunities in the market.
