inTarvo Technologies to Solar Power Remote Telecom Locations of BSNL

inTarvo Technologies, provider of Integrated Lifecycle Management (ILM) Services in India, declared that it has been awarded a tender by Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL), an Indian telecom company to provide solar power to some of its telecom offices located in Western parts of Uttar Pradesh.

The company will arrange to provide solar installations at select telecom offices to supply them clean energy to substitute the electricity currently generated utilizing diesel generators. The arrangement will enable BSNL locations to get rid of its reliance on diesel power generators to provide electricity to the telecom towers, save them a good amount of money spent on diesel and prevent escape of carbon discharges into the air. The proposal will also promote the use of renewable solar energy in the region, which suffers frequent power cuts.

inTarvo Technologies’ President and CEO-Telecom, Sanjay Bhasin, said that this is the first order from BSNL to his company to provide solar power to remote telecom towers. He added that the proposed solar project will provide cost-effective and long lasting power solutions to the towers. He further said that his company will replace all the diesel run generators utilized by the telecom towers in the locations with green renewable solar energy thus allowing them to save on recurrent costs and prevent carbon emissions.
