TAPPI declared that it has entered into a venture with Biofuels Digest to co-stage the 2011 BioPro Expo and Marketplace, which is slated to take place, at the Atlanta Hilton, Atlanta, during 14-16 March, 2011.
Both the companies have an aggregated access to around 95,000 professionals in the biofuels and bioenergy groups. The joining of the two organizations in promoting the expo will allow them to bring in their expertise in educating the participants with latest information in the up coming biofuel industry.
The proposed BioPro Expo program will discuss in detail the key issues related to biomass conversion with a two tracked approach to thrash out the roadblocks that obstruct the quicker introduction of a viable biomass program. It will discuss the financing problems and the rules that restrict the growth, the various raw material options, which include crops grown for the biofuel production, waste crops used and the upcoming technologies in the biofuel manufacture. The expo will also have discussions on the forthcoming migration technologies that permit the growing of agricultural feedstocks and cellulosic materials either unitedly or separately utilizing a fully structured process arrangement.
The expo considered to be one of the largest of its kind in Southeastern United States, is supported by 22 industry related companies dealing with a range of biomass processing and products. The knowledge sessions during the expo are supported by trade shows focusing on the advanced technologies, services and products currently available. The expo will analyze in detail about some of the realistic methodologies and easily changing products, residua and waste products that can be converted into green energy and biofuel.
