Solar Acquisition (SLRX) has proclaimed that it is launching a bio-fuels division through its newly founded subsidiary B151. This subsidiary company would concentrate on producing B100, which is another form of pure biodiesel.
According to Bruce Levy, Solar Acquisition’s Director, advanced bio-fuels and bio-fuels obtained from biomass are gaining recognition from the International, EPA and US state Governments. With all the current and the future directives for bio-fuel blends this was the right time to focus on producing bio-fuels to meet the future demands for renewable bio-fuels. B100 would be produced at a much lower cost when compared to that of the other competing products.
Solar Acquisition was established in 2006, and its corporate headquarters is in Ann Arbor in Michigan. Its activities include sourcing and distributing solar panels and accessories in the United States, and also providing turnkey services to customers handling the designing, procurement, monitoring, grid connection, installation and maintenance for solar energy solutions. The company also focuses on commercial production of renewable energy such as Solar PV, Fuel Cell, Wind and Geothermal, added to the research and development activities in determining innovative renewable energy products.
