Tenaris to Participate at the Australian Geothermal Conference

Tenaris, a company with a history of over fifty years, was a first time participant in the Australian Geothermal Conference held at the Adelaide Convention Center in Australia in November.

Tenaris showcased its premium connections for geothermal drilling projects at the conference. These drilling projects frequently feature challenging designs and unconventional wells such as lean profile or deviated wells.

The broad range of TenarisHydril premium connections assist in handling high loads and equally high temperatures allied with geothermal operations. This technology is much more superior to the standard connections, which normally deliver conflicting and unpredictable results in geothermal operations and are also unable to handle bending. The company’s Blue Series provide ultra sealing capabilities along with torque capability and high fatigue resistance. Due to its dovetail design, the TenarisHydril Wedge Series 500 renders outstandingly high torque capability.

Tenaris comprises a network of service yards, manufacturing units and commercial offices all over the globe providing line pipe, tubing and casing and other structural and mechanical steel pipes for various applications. Their R&D centers in Japan, Italy, Mexico and Argentina help them in designing, testing and qualifying their tubular products for their client base.
