Solarpraxis Concludes PV Power Plants Conference

The recently concluded conference in Las Vegas has revealed that there is a demand for solar projects and its know-how in the US for information on financing and policy for large-scale PV projects.

Manufacturers, developers, utilities, analysts and investors attended the Solarpraxis U.S. conference where speakers from the solar industry addressed the gathering. Under discussion were the best ways to develop the PV Market in North America. Issues such as how to use different subsidies and government incentives, and current bank lending rates were also addressed. Solar analyst Chris Hiller of Stellar Energy GP, a leading California-based solar energy integrator said that the conference was very informative.

Brade Meikle, chairman of Silverado Power, remarked that Solarpraxis events in both the US and Europe are well managed and are attended by senior members of the industry.
