China Sunergy, Sunergic to Explore Swiss Solar Markets

China Sunergy, a Nanjing, China-based solar cells and modules manufacturing company, declared that it has won a supply contract to provide 1.1 MW solar modules to Sunergic, a Switzerland-based solar system integrating company.

The solar modules will be installed for Services Industriel de Geneve (SIG), a utility company based in Switzerland.

Nico Lugt, CEO of Sunergic, expressed his excitement over winning the SIG solar project bid. He added that the collaboration of his company with China Sunergy has enabled the company to guarantee the quality of the project and get an edge over the other competing companies. He has expressed optimism in continuing the collaboration to lead the solar energy market of Switzerland and the intention of the company to work in close association with China Energy in a number of projects in the coming years.

Stephen Zhifang Cai, China Sunergy’s CEO, has expressed his happiness to associate with Sunergic in the solar project and said that the association depicts the concerted efforts taken by the two companies in venturing into new solar markets. He hoped that the combined strategies practiced by the companies would bring in more opportunities in future.
