Masdar PV, Beck Energy to Develop Solar PV Power Facility in Germany

Thin-film photovoltaic products manufacturer, Masdar PV and Beck Energy, a developer of ultra-efficient solar power facilities across the world, have collaborated to construct a solar photovoltaic power facility in Luckenwalde, Germany.

According to the partnership, Masdar will deliver 65,000 solar modules for the ground-installed solar power facility, which will be producing 6.096 MWh of green energy per year.

According to Masdar PV, the Luckenwalde solar plant’s installed capacity is 6 MW and the total solar power produced by the solar modules can satisfy the energy demands of 2,200 four-member families

Frank Wouters, the Chief Executive Officer at Masdar PV, stated that the Luckenwalde solar plant is a reference project for its Masdar PV products and for the upcoming utility-scale photovoltaic power facilities.

Bernhard Beck, Managing Director of Beck Energy located in Kolitzheim in Lower Franconia, commented that the Luckenwalde solar facility indicated the start of a useful partnership between the two companies.
