Princeton Power Systems Opens New Production Facility for Alternative Energy Storage Systems and Inverters

Princeton Power Systems has opened a new production plant in Princeton, New Jersey, to produce energy storage systems and inverters for renewable energies such as wind power, solar power and smart grid operations. The new plant will also produce military-qualified variable speed drive products.

The new production plant spanning 10,000 square feet comprises floors that can assemble 90„c inverter cabinets and various labs, including a Variable Speed Drive test and assembly lab, a printed circuit board lab, an inverter test lab, a high-power distribution room, a machine shop and various other offices.

Princeton Power Systems¡¦ compliance test lab in the new facility enables the company to endorse the compliance via CSA, TUV and other organizations. The new lab will incorporate Value Stream Mapping, enabling technologies like recirculation, and a Corrective Action Process to boost the effectiveness and enhance production and testing functionalities.
