SOLARWATT‘s Solar Modules Earn MCS Certification

Germany-based company, SOLARWATT, announced that its innovative solar modules have received the Clean Energy certification for complying with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) specifications.

SOLARWATT, established in 1993, produces solar modules and distributes photovoltaic systems. It also develops small, standard and special solar modules for solar power plants and specializes in constructing turnkey projects.

According to SOLARWATT’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Frank Schneider, the recognition of the company’s products under the MCS allows it to branch into the UK market. The certification also allows SOLARWATT’s UK clients to benefit from the feed-in perk system.

The Clean Energy program awards the certification only to those products that meet the MCS standards. he standard also ensures that all solar technology deployments satisfy the highest quality specifications. In addition to testing the solar modules, a rigorous examination and validation is carried on the production procedures, qualifications of the production staff, technology and the materials used.
