Sunvalley Solar to Commence Installation of Solar System for Aqua Farming Tech in 2011

Sunvalley Solar, a solar system solutions rendering and providing company, declared that it has contracted an accord with Aqua Farming Tech to complete a commercial level solar power installation in Thermal, California.

The proposed solar installation valued around $1,375,550 will incorporate 3140 solar panels manufactured by Tianwei Solarfilms and will generate 294.88 kW of clean solar energy. SunValley Solar also will provide two 100 KW and two 35 KW solar inverters supplied by PV Powered to complete the requirements of the installation. The proposed solar project will receive around $646K from a local utility company as solar incentive rebates and around $405K from Federal Treasury Department as Federal Tax Cash subsidies.

The planned solar facility will produce around 506 kWh of electric power every year. The system will generate additional power during peak summer months from May to October, which can be traded with Imperial Irrigation District Utility to earn solar credits. The solar credits can be utilized to offset the extra power consumption in winter months. The installation will begin in early 2011.
