TechPrecision’s Chinese Subsidiary Supplies First Solar Equipment

TechPrecision, a major producer of huge-scale, ultra-precision metal machining, assemblies and fabrications for its clients in the renewable energy, nuclear, defense, medical and aerospace industries, has declared that the company’s newly established Chinese subsidiary, Wuxi Critical Mechanical Components (WCMC) has supplied its first solar device following the completion of inspection on February 1, 2011.

WCMC is satisfying the direct demands for local production and machining of parts for a major client in the solar power market, and increasing demand from existing and possible clients in the region. In discussion with an existing client and considering the robust demands for solar power components in Asia, particularly in China, TechPrecision established WCMC in October 2010 as a wholly owned foreign enterprise.

At present, nearly 90% of the world’s mono and poly silicon solar panels are slated to be developed in China and an equal demand for local production of nuclear facilities in China. WCMC offers TechPrecision to establish its supply chain management nearer to its client base and thus decreasing shipment transportation expenditures and speeding up lead times.
