DRI Energy Commissions Solar System for Kinsbursky Brothers

DRI Energy, an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract providing company, has completed the installation to enable commissioning of a solar system for Kinsbursky Brothers, a company that is focused on administration and recycling of the large sized batteries that are used in automotive hybrid applications, standby power and motive power and have reached the end of their product life cycle.

DRI Energy installed a 306 kW DC system at the Kinsbursky Brothers facility located in Anaheim, California. The company completed the solar installation over a 38 foot high open type of structure located over one of the sensitive  operational portions of the company without causing disruptions to the functions of Kinsbursky Brothers.

The solar system is anticipated to generate over 440,000 kWh electric power annually and assist the company to offset nearly 700,000 tons of carbon dioxide every year. The amount of greenhouse gas emissions offset can be equated to recycling over 200,000 lbs of waste in lieu of transferring it to a landfill.
