EnerSolar Street Light to Light Up Streets in Camrose and Kimberley

Enertia Engineering has chosen Camrose County, AB and Kimberley, BC for installing the first two cold weather models of their solar powered street light branded EnerSolar Street Lights.

The EnerSolar is a highly compact all-in-one package. Normally in equatorial regions, solar power is prevalent and can be harnessed effectively. Even during winter season not less than eight hours of sunlight is available. Moreover, in winter the solar radiation is very low in comparison to other regions. Enertia Engineering by using its avant-garde technology for LED street lights, batteries and controls, has developed an extremely efficient yet compact solar street light that has everything needed for a totally autonomous usage.

The installation is very simple and it is easy for anyone to apply EnerSolar Street lights. It does not contain any external battery box as everything is restricted inside the pole and the lighthead itself. The installation is very safe and much easier than the conventional street lights as it is not connected to the electrical grid. According to Darcy Braun, who is the Principal and Owner of Enertia Engineering, the company was under the impression that solar powered lights could be sold only in equatorial regions and not for countries like Canada in the past. However, batteries capable of operating under -45C, 120 Lumen/Watt LEDs, along with intelligent and advanced controls have allowed them to go beyond the boundaries and create a singularly unique product, which could be used even in countries such as Canada. Enertia Engineering is a Canadian electrical engineering and electrical equipment manufacturer with offices in Ontario and Alberta, supplying to field service companies and large oil & gas companies all over the world.
