Envision Solar to Design and Install Solar Parking Array in California

Envision Solar International, a green substructure formulating and developing company, declared that it has contracted an accord with an important Californian utility company to design and construct its patented Solar Tree structure for use over a display structure. The high visibility project is open to the public view.

The proposed 80 kW Solar Grove array solar installation by Envision Solar will comprise its registered Solar Tree construction, which is designed to put together Envision Solar’s patented CleanCharge CI, (column-integrated) power charging stations for electric vehicles. The installation when completed in the middle of the year 2011 will offer shade to around 36 cars. The proposed structural design will enable the inclusion of Envision Solar's patented EnvisionTrak, a multi-axis technology, which allows the tracking of the sun to increase the power conversion efficiency of the installation by nearly 22%.

According to Robert Noble, Envision Solar’s Founder and CEO, the proposed Solar Grove in addition to providing clean solar energy will also offer shade for the cars and the people and will enhance the architectural beauty of the building. The power charging facility when installed will allow the people living locally to charge their electric vehicles  or plug-in-type of hybrid vehicles and to watch the renewable energy generation.
