Siel Energey to Erect Roof Mounted Solar PV Modules for NYSE Euronext Data Center

Siel Energey, a Gloucestershire- based company, declared that it has been contracted to erect a roof mounted and grid connected solar installation considered to be one among the biggest in the UK.

The new system designed to generate around 600 kWp will be erected at NYSE Euronext’s new data center in the UK.

The proposed installation will include 6 SOLEIL LV PV converters each with a rating of 100 kWp. Each of the inverters will be organized with 29 arrays of multi crystalline solar PV modules produced by Tenesol, and linked through smart and matching string boxes. A total communication and a data collection system based on the TGS2 monitoring platform owned by SIEL will be erected to offer real-time monitoring of functional status of the system, production details for individual PV strings and inverters and warning alarms. The installation is anticipated to generate over 450,000kW/hrs electric power and offset more than 255 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

The SOLEIL LV PV converters are produced by SIEL,  the parent company of SIEL UK and located in Italy. The G83/1 compliant SOLEIL PV Inverters developed by the company with the brand name SIAC are offered from 10 to 500 kWp power ranges for both grid-linked and stand-alone applications. The company supplies systems with 80 kWp or more with MV configuration and large sized systems are provided as a PV package up to 1 MVA with MV transformer and PS1000 switchgear.
