ET Solar Completes Third Ground-Mounted Solar Power Plant in Germany

China-based ET Solar, a photovoltaic solution provider has successfully completed the installation and grid connection of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 2.9MW for the Germany-based Wattner Group.

Located over 6.5 hectares in Frankenberg, ET Solar was not only the module supplier but also the contractor for construction and procurement of the plant operating on photovoltaic panels. Construction of the plant began in September last year and the grid connection was obtained in December. The third ground-mounted PV plant designed by ET Solar, will generate around 2.6 million kWh of electricity yearly. It is projected that over a 30-year period, the plant will decrease carbon emissions by nearly 45,000 tons. The three individual solar plants by ET Solar total 6.2MW of energy in Germany.

Dr. Linhui Sui, ET Solar’s European system operations head stated that with the completion of the third photovoltaic plant for Wattner has strengthened their position in the market

Managing Partner of Wattner, Guido Ingwer praised ET Solar’s execution of the project and the prompt completion of the 2.9MW solar power plant in spite of the severe weather conditions that prevailed in Frankenberg.
