ET Solar, a global provider of solar modules, PV balance of system components and turnkey solutions, has announced that in tests performed by PHOTON Laboratory, its ET-P660240 module demonstrated higher yield performance.
ET Solar had introduced the multi-crystalline ET-P660240 modules in 2010. The product was a key module and ET Solar targeted the European market for majority of its sales. The ET-P660240 module has been a major contributor to the total sales figures of the company, and has the capability to deliver a maximum unit power output of 240 W.
PHOTON Lab, a PV system testing and measurement laboratory, has been providing measurements of solar module energy yields. The modules are tested and their energy output is compared on a per kilowatt basis. PHOTON Lab recently conducted a test in which ET Solar’s ET-P660240 module achieved a yield performance of 629 kWh/kW over a testing period lasting eight months. ET Solar states that the ET-P660240 module achieved the highest ranking among multi-crystalline modules when compared with other reputed global module manufacturers. The tests were conducted under the same conditions outdoors.
The President and CEO of ET Solar, Dennis She stated that the company was pleased with the performance of the modules in the PHOTON Lab test. It is anticipating working with other international testing organizations and PHOTON Lab for validating the quality and performance of its products, he said.
