Spire to Supply Solar PV Assembly Line to MAGE SOLAR

Spire, a company supplying key equipment and modular type of production lines for the manufacture of solar photovoltaic modules, has declared that it will supply a photovoltaic module line to MAGE SOLAR (MAGE), a Ravensburg, Germany-based company.

The automated production line will be installed by MAGE SOLAR at its production facility in Dublin, Georgia and will allow the company to assemble the laminates into finished solar modules. The new facility will manufacture 50 MW of completed modules every year. The first batches of the solar modules are anticipated to come out of MAGE SOLAR’s new production line at the end of April.

According to Roger G. Little, Spire’s Chairman and CEO, the new production line provided to MAGE SOLAR will allow the company to have increased control over the pricing and will equip the company with the US made tag to penetrate the solar market successfully. The new factory will create around 350 job positions for a period of five years.
