IVC US Installs Solar Energy System at its U.S. Headquarters

IVC US declared that it has commissioned a solar power installation at its newly constructed headquarters in Dalton, Georgia. The 520,000 square foot building incorporates modern production and distribution facilities.

The rooftop solar installation at the building is set off with a 15' X 15' solar tracker over the Dalton Bypass, which tracks the movement of the sun throughout the day. The 101.66 kW solar energy system incorporates 476 Schuco solar panels and the power produced from the system is linked to an interactive inverter to supply power to the building. United Renewable Energy, a Georgia-based company, has performed the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the project.

The renewable energy generated from the solar panels is adequate to provide electricity to 10 average homes in the USA. The installed solar panels will generate enough power to counterbalance around 2,000 tons of carbon emission during its 25 year lifetime.
