Its Solaris Platinum roofing shingles provide 40% solar reflectivity and cuts down the roof temperature by 20% during summer. Energy Edge and CedarBoards Insulated Siding thwart energy deprivation through bases that use concrete slabs and through outside walls. The EnerGen Photovoltaic Solar Roofing System, provided by CertainTeed, incorporates UNI-SOLAR thin-film laminates, which flawlessly integrates with conventional asphalt roofing shingles to produce solar power.
CertainTeed, through Saint-Gobain, its parent company, has been contributing to protect the environment through its energy-efficiency services. The company was chosen as an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for the previous two years in succession.
