Insight Management Announces New Solar Technology Solution for Rooftop Installations

Insight Management, a provider of wind and solar energy systems and ecologically- friendly preassembled homes, has declared the introduction of a novel solar panel technology meant for use by commercial businesses, house owners and home builders.

The patent pending technology will put together the photovoltaic wafers with that of the pre-insulated roofing boards to supply a total solar roofing solution.

The solar panel design provided by Insight Management blends a high power generating wafer type crystalline photovoltaic module with a normal preassembled construction panel. The single piece composite material will do away with the requirement of extra construction components and perform without the need of fixing it over the roof thus cutting down the roof weight of the panels in comparison with the traditional solar panels. The new panels are said to improve the total construction reliability cost- effectively. Also the new modules will allow the company to meet the installation requirements of clients where the installation of separate roof systems to complete solar installation is forbidden by the building rules.

Unlike the conventional building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) rooftop solar installations, that incur additional expenditure for the erection of support and framing structures, the new proprietary technology supplied by the company makes the rooftop installation simpler by cutting down the installation costs and time while improving the power generation.
