Encos, a UK-based manufacturer of carbon negative green materials for use in the construction industry will participate in a meeting on sustainable building technologies being organized by the Beijing Commission sustainable development centre and Innovation China UK (ICUK) in China between 21 – 24 June.
The meeting is organized to launch the novel sustainable building products and research in the UK to related companies and research institutes in China.
Encos is one among the nine participants chosen to represent the UK out of a total 30 aspirants. The interest shown by a good number of institutions and companies in China in the technology used by Encos and its zero carbon masonry units enabled the company to get selected for the meeting.
CEO of Encos, Mark Nichols, has stated that China is always in the lookout of green and sustainable construction technologies to cut down its carbon discharges. He added that his company will endeavor to help the construction industry of China to achieve their eco-friendly and sustainability goals.
According to Tom Saunders of ICUK, the event is anticipated to kindle the interest of Chinese companies who are looking forward to invest in renewable and green energy developments and to forge long term business association with the companies in the UK.
