SANYO Introduces MDF-U76VC Ultra-Minimum Temperature Freezer

Biomedical Solutions Division of SANYO North America has declared the introduction of MDF-U76VC a new ultra-minimum temperature freezer featuring exclusive green technology of SANYO for the US market. The freezer comes with a combination of advanced refrigeration technology, electronics and cabinet design.

SANYO Announces VIP(R) Series Ultra-Low Storage Solution Freezer With Industry-leading Energy Efficiency at 15.1-kilowatt hours per day*.

The new freezer boasts a new and bettered refrigeration system and heat exchanger that enables functional efficiency and energy savings. The freezer occupies comparatively less space for its high density storage facility and a latest food conserving facility deploying Cool Safe compressors exclusively designed for use in low temperature applications. The SANYO VIP Series freezers offer several advantages which include the use of intelligent control to manage all functions, superior design of the cabinet and a balance of freezing power.

The energy tests performed with the new heat exchanger of the freezer in a 25°C close milieu with the freezer cycling at -80°C, the SANYO MDF-U76VC/U56VC has established that it consumes 32% less power by just consuming 15.1 kWh per day in comparison with similar models from other companies. The results of the tests proved that SANYO ultra-minimum temperature freezers cut down functional costs through higher level efficiency while consuming minimum level of HVAC loads and discharging minimum level of heat in the test labs.

The freezer features an increased level of reserved cooling capability to augment the temperature recovery every time the door of the freezer is opened. The surfacing of the evaporator within the cabinet walls enables uniformity of ultra-low temperature within the freezer to assist placing of biological products and cell lines inside the interior cabinet. The other standard features provided by the freezer include reduced level of noise, use of eco-friendly CFC refrigerants, use of RoHS compliant components, ergonomic design, microprocessor control, and tamper-resistant keypad to access self-diagnostic functions.
