Suntech Power Launches Suntech Solar modules in Israel

Suntech Power has brought out its efficient Suntech 300W Vd series solar modules for the users in Israel. The modules deploy the exclusive SuperPoly process engineering of Suntech, thus offering a better silicon casting and wafering procedure in the production of multicrystalline wafers.

The modules are designed to accomplish around 15.5% energy conversion efficiency more than the 13% to 14% efficiency provided by traditional polycrystalline solar modules.

The new 300W Vd module supplied by Suntech use 72 cells each measuring 6 ” black squares to offer the highest power per ratio among the comparable products. The +/- 5% power tolerance of the module with low level of oxygen content enables it to endure light induced degradation successfully and achieves nearly 18% conversion efficiency. The modules that meets all the IEC standard needs are designed to endure all types of weather conditions such as snow loads of 5.400 N/m2 (~55 kg/m2) and wind loads of 3.800 N/m2 (~270 km/h). The product is ideal for use in rooftop applications. The eco-friendly 300-24/Vd solar modules offers quicker payback period than normal monocrystalline modules. The modules incorporate an anti-reflective surface to draw the sunlight to the cells and a hydrophobic surface structure to achieve self cleaning.

The solar module technology is developed by the in house R&D and wafer manufacture team established on a hybrid wafer production process. The new modules combine the reliability and cost-effectiveness of the polycrystalline wafers and the high level energy conversion efficiency of monocrystalline wafers.
