Satcon Technology Associates with Wipro EcoEnergy to Supply Inverter Solutions

Satcon Technology, a supplier of power conversion solutions for utility-scale projects in the renewable energy segment, declared that it has been chosen by Wipro EcoEnergy, to supply its inverters needed for the 40 MW solar power developments in various locations in India.

Wipro EcoEnergy will utilize the PowerGate Plus 500 kW inverter solutions supplied by Satcon in the locations. The initiative of Wipro is considered to be the largest private solar development in India till date.

The PowerGate Plus inverters supplied by Satcon are the most sought after inverter solutions and the company has supplied more than 2.5 GW inverters worldwide. The PowerGate Plus inverters like all the other inverters supplied by the company has sophisticated utility-ready attributes to assist in easy grid interconnectivities and can be incorporated into the SCADA systems utilizing normal communication interfaces.

Wipro EcoEnergy has plans to provide made to order type of solar module designs and assist in purchases, building and commissioning of the solar installations. It is also planning to provide operations, maintenance and real-time remote monitoring services for the infrastructure supplied by it.
