Advanced Solar Products will complete the 14.1 MW installation by utilizing its patented Solstice mounting structure. The McGraw-Hill project and the use of Solstice mounting structure has obtained the approval of New Jersey's Renewable Energy Manufacturing Incentive (NJREMI) program. The program offers discounts to non-profit organizations, local governments, businesses, and residents of New Jersey that buy and erect racking systems, inverters and solar panels produced in the state.
NJR Clean Energy Ventures, an auxiliary of New Jersey Resources has unveiled its plans to make an investment of $60 million in the development and installation of the project. The clean energy generated by the project will offset around 10% of annual carbon discharges of McGraw-Hill.
The signed accord will require LDK Solar to complete delivery of panels needed for the project by November 2011. The project whose construction has already begun in July this year is anticipated to become fully operational in the Spring of 2012.
