A developer and designer of infrastructure product, Envision Solar International has declared that the company has gained more than $1 million through the new orders placed for multiple axis EnvisionTrak patented Solar Tree structures from the start of 2011’s second quarter.
These orders will be accomplished in the U.S. South West region between the third and fourth quarters of this year.
CleanCharge and EnvisionTrak systems integrated Solar Tree structures consist of a highly structured parking lot solar array charging system. This charging system is 20 to 25% more productive when compared to the traditional fixed solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. A hybrid multiple access tracking system was incorporated to create this increase, which allows the solar panels to keep track of the sun across the entire day. The panels’ energy will be utilized for charging electric vehicles, sometimes throughout the day with the help of integrated battery storage systems, or fed to the power grid. By 2010, the State of California can reach 33% reusable energy by delivering all the surplus energy back to the power grid.
Robert Noble Envision’s CEO stated that the company’s goal to plant the Solar Tree structures on parking areas worldwide has come out into reality. Envision’s system based integrated structures such as CleanCharge electric vehicle charging, EnvisionTrak tracking technology, and other technologies are united into one 'kit of parts,' which meets the requirements of this revolutionized reusable energy market, he added. Desmond Wheatley, Envision’s President, stated that the addition of further orders to the already received $1 million orders is a perfect validation of the company’s focus and strategy.
