Aquatech, a company engaged in the development of facilities for wastewater treatment, reuse and recycling, declared that its MoVap wastewater treatment solution supplied to Shale Gas has been functioning actively at a field located close to Masontown, Pennsylvania.
To update the progress made in the deployment of MoVap and to showcase the live operation of the unit, Aquatech had arranged for a number of special meets on 15th August with participation from members of the media, industry leaders, government officials, regulators and producers and professionals from gas industry.
MoVap, a constituent of the MoSuite range of water treatment alternatives available for the shale gas industry is the result of Aquatech’s 30 years experience in offering refined and complete water treatment solutions globally and now has been graded for deployment on the well pad.
The wastewater when completely treated with Aquatech’s proprietary MoVap solution will enable reuse of water or returning back to the environment. The water treatment meets the requirements of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits.
The new MoVap facility of the company does further than just recycling and flowing back the recycled water to the ground. The mobile water treatment facility fulfills the conformity levels that are normally available in an all inclusive fixed type of water treatment facilities. The design of the unit enables it to bring down the quantity of total dissolved solids (TDS) filled wastewaters from the hydraulic fracturing processes on the well pad.
